Youth Justice and Power Union (YJPU) is an organization led by Black and Brown youth in Boston. Youth leaders and members lead basebuilding, political education, and multi-issue campaigns to confront systemic injustice through organizing and direct action. Last year, YJPU worked with partners to fight to defund the police and fund youth jobs. This year, the group will strengthen its basebuilding to involve more young people, step up its campaign work, and create a more solid structure. As we finalize plans for the spring, we are hiring two part-time youth workers for 3 months.
